Medical Doctor & Aesthetic Practitioner
Dr Kate Alexandra Bishop
Dr Bishop areas of expertise:
Advanced Therapeutic Injections including Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)
AQ Skin Solutions
Cryolipolysis (fat freezing for body contouring)
Dr. Kate Alexandra Bishop has a unique insight into non-invasive cosmetic surgery, making her one of the most sought-after, and progressive, cosmetic doctors in London today. She has many years of training in all disciplines of medicine under her belt, including general medicine and ears, nose and throat surgery. However, Dr Kate Alexandra decided that her future lie in non-surgical, aesthetic medicine, which would allow her to blend the knowledge garnered from general practice and working alongside some of the top surgeons in the UK, with her exceptional artistic vision – and it is these skills that give her the leading edge over many of her contemporaries.
Having qualified as a doctor from the University College of Medicine in Wales, Dr Kate Alexandra initially moved to London to undertake a role as a clinical research physician working on pharmaceutical trials. Her extensive experience and understanding of drug safety are reflected in all aspects of her clinic work. She is committed to safe and ethical cosmetic medicine, working only with those that have a proven safety track record and efficacy.
Dr Kate Alexandra regularly attends cosmetic surgery and pharmaceutical seminars and conferences in order to arm herself with knowledge of the latest cutting-edge techniques and the most effective treatments available. She believes wholeheartedly in allowing natural beauty to shine through and is a great advocate of ‘less is more’. This philosophy is evident in all the treatments she carries out from her London practice and endorsements from very happy clients.
She offers a full range of aesthetic treatments focusing on the whole body, not just the face. She is particularly renowned, however, for her work with the UK’s first leading, new generation and non-surgical, facelift ‘PDO Thread Lift’ which aims to create a more natural, refreshed, radiant and healthier look. The threads have been created for patients who do not want to go down the route of a surgical facelift. The tiny threads, previously used in cardiac surgery, are placed
under the skin to stimulate the body’s own collagen, which is lost during the ageing process. It offers the most advanced gentle face-lift available in the UK. It is interesting to note that many leading facial surgeons have left the surgical arena in favour of aesthetic and non-surgical facial improvements. Indeed Dr. Kate Alexandra herself has trained many facial and reconstructive surgeons as well as Harley Street doctors in the art of PDO Threads! Having witnessed this complete turnaround first-hand simply validates the decision she made early in her career to pursue the non-surgical route after many years in general medicine.
As one of the most respected, knowledgeable and skilled practitioners in her field, it is no wonder that Dr Kate Alexandra is also one of the busiest.
Dr. Kate Alexandra can be found at the Chelsea Clinic in London, arguably one of the best in the UK, and is the perfect location for Dr Kate Alexandra to engage with her clients and work her special kind of aesthetic magic!

“After a professional lifetime as more of an Obstetrician than Gynaecologist, I have come to realise that pregnancy itself, along with ageing can take its toll on the pelvic floor.
In the past we could offer it surgery, pelvic floor exercises and hormones, but now we have introduced Radio Frequency treatment which is an out-patient, non invasive way of encouraging your own body to address the problems by improving the collagen and elastin in the pelvic tissues and thus helping you to ‘rediscover your younger self.’
The majority of women’s tissues respond very well to this comfortable treatment, and I must say I would be now fully retired if this treatment hadn’t come along and proved so successful” – Prof Jim Dornan

Rita Arora BSc Hons Pharmacy, Dip CNM
Good nutrition is the foundation of good health. We owe it to our bodies to use the best building blocks available to help overcome illness and achieve peak performance.
Rita qualified as a pharmacist from Manchester University and as a nutritional Therapist from CNM London.
Rita uses the functional Medicine approach, ensuring an in depth assessment is made in order to understand bio chemical imbalances.
Rita uses the latest laboratory testing and other diagnostic techniques such as hormone profiles, comprehensive digestive analysis (using DNA analysis), Organix Acids testing & adrenal stress index. She marries this functional medicine approach with the fundamental need to approach health as a ‘whole-body’ experience, respecting the influence of the mind, body and spirit.
“Being truly well is not just about eating well, it is about thinking well too”.
Rita’s approach is patient-centred and evidence-based. She recognizes that each person is an individual, with unique requirements and differing health goals. Patients can expect tailor- made support based on comprehensive health screens, dietary assessment, laboratory testing and ongoing nutritional management.
Amongst other diagnostic tools, Rita offers tests to identify genetic variations that could make you more vulnerable to the harmful effects of toxins. These are of importance if you have:
- a chronic condition that resists medical treatment
- a family history of heart disease, arthritis, or osteoporosis
- if asthma and allergies run in your family
- you feel you may have genetic variations that make you more vulnerable to the harmful effects of toxins
- you feel or have been told you respond less well to certain drugs or nutrients
- you want a focussed plan to break the pattern and better prevent inherited risks from turning into realities
By using gene testing, Rita can help you identify your predisposition to the following diseases:
- Heart disease
- Oxidative stress
- Adverse drug reactions
Rita has developed programme themes on the basis of concerns she has most commonly encountered in her London-based patients, and reflecting her specialist research interests. These include:
- Weight Management
- Detoxification & Liver Cleanse
- Immune Support
- Healthy Skin & Ageing
- Pre Natal and Pregnancy Nutrition

Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Jan Stuart MLD GCMT, BCMA, MLD UK
In addition to Manual Lymph Drainage I offer Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage and The Bowen Technique.
I trained in Massage Therapy ten years ago with the renowned Clare Maxwell Hudson. Volunteering at a Hospice and the Supportive Therapies Unit for cancer sufferers at a local Hospital I became aware of a need for trained MLD therapists. I subsequently trained with The Vodder School and have since helped many clients with lymphoedema. I also discovered, however, that MLD can help with many conditions and most people find it the most relaxing and stress relieving form of massage available. I incorporate in my treatment if needed a machine used in hospitals and physiotherapy departments called Deep Oscillation which alleviates pain and reduces swelling. This I have found to be very helpful after cosmetic surgery and liposuction.
Five years ago I discovered The Bowen Technique. I have since had much success treating people with this gentle therapy. I have attended numerous workshops to extend my knowledge and last summer participated in Gil Hedley’s Integral Anatomy 6 day course in St Andrews. This has deepened my understanding and appreciation of the sheer wonder and complexity of our bodies.
