Cardiac Clinical Physiologist

Kingsbridge Healthcare Group are currently seeking to fill the role of Cardiac Clinical Physiologist within the Cardiology Department. The successful candidate will be based at Kingsbridge Private Hospital but may be required to travel to other Company locations as and when required.

Salary £35,000 per annum

Hours 37.5 per week
Responsible to Operations Manager
Accountable to COO

Job Summary

To actively participate in the provision of a high quality, effective and efficient Outpatient Service. The post holder will ensure that high standards of service and care are maintained in accordance with the Company ethos and practice.
 
Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. To perform a wide range of non-invasive cardiac investigations including Echo, Treadmill and Ambulatory ECG and BP monitoring.
  2. To set and maintain high standards of personalised patient care.
  3. Interpret diagnostic information.
  4. To comply with legislative and Company policies and procedures.
  5. Proactive in supporting senior staff.
  6. Ability and willingness to keep up to date of new developments within a growing industry.
  7. Ability to work in collaboration with other clinicians.
  8. Adherence to privacy, confidentiality, informed consent and security policies
  9. Ability to tailor communication to the patient needs.

Person Specification:
 
Factor Essential Desirable
Qualifications
  • BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent in experience.
  • BSE accreditation in adult Echocardiography
  • ALS/ILS within past 12 months
  • Registered with RCCP
Experience
  • 3 years post-graduation in Cardiac Echo
  • Experience in Dobutamine Stress testing
Special Knowledge and Skills
  • Knowledge of current standards within the service.
  • BSE accredited and able to work autonomously.
  • Reporting ambulatory monitors.
  • Supervision of Exercise Stress Testing.
  • IT and telephone interaction skills
Personal Attributes
  • Enthusiastic and willingness to work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility regarding working hours.
  • Confidence in autonomous practice (where appropriate)
