From as far back as the Egyptian ages, women have been keen to enhance what they have in abundance, - Beauty.
Some may not really believe they have those well defined lips, those eyes that we all want, eyebrows that are arched perfectly, but in reality, it’s all possible with the application of a 2000 year old technique – semi permanent makeup. You can go from thinking “do you have it”, to actually noticing that you really do, it’s that easy for women of today with the art & science of these procedures.

Also to benefit, is today’s busy woman, always on the go, where time is of the essence, so having the eyeliner that never disappears, the eyebrows that are always perfect, and the lip liner that never smudges, is a big, big benefit after that gym workout, those weekly swimming lessons, or just relaxing on that sun lounger, either in the garden or that Mediterranean beach. Others who are unlucky to have lost those eyebrows, or lashes, through whatever reason, can benefit so much from the application to reconstruct what was once there.
So, some of us are wondering, how does it work and what is it all about, well, we are going to explain from matching the right colour of pigment to client, to developing the best shaping techniques for you, through careful consultation from your initial enquiry.

Luscious Lips –

It’s the law of nature that we can’t all be blessed with full and sensual lips! But with any shape lips, as we get older, the natural skin pigments fade, and can draw colour out of the face. It is now possible, to change the shape and shade of your mouth. “Many of our clients are unhappy with ‘thin’ lips,” explains Yolanda. “To restore lost definition, we can line the lips very softly outside the border with the Lip Perfection Contour and Blended Contour.
As well as lost definition we can create fuller and more sensual lips without the need for frequent injectable fillers, although both do complement each other. We can get a softly defined outline which is blended and faded about halfway into the lip area to give an amazing, natural looking pout.”

As well as boosting the lip area, these treatments can correct any shape or symmetry concerns. Yolanda says. “Add a dab of high sheen lip gloss and your best high heels for a glamorous evening look!”

Reconstructive procedures -

This area is classed as “Paramedical” work, which relies on an experienced technician, with years of experience, quality suitable equipment, and the knowledge to carry out these treatments. For people who have certain problems, using a technique called “Camouflage” is another helpful application of micro pigmentation. Colour is added to the skin to soften and blend the colour of a scar to match the surrounding tissue. This technique is also useful to correct loss of skin pigmentation, to minimize facelift scars, and to recreate nipple and areola areas after breast reconstruction surgery. In these instances, the pigments are custom blended to harmonize with the surrounding skin.
Procedures last anything from 2 – 4 yrs, treatment time takes between 1 – 1 1/2 hrs depending on area.

Eyebrows –

Brows have never been more of a facial focus than they are now. Beauty bibles, such as Tattler, In-Style, Vogue and Cosmopolitan rarely pass up an opportunity to give advice on great brows. Unfortunately this advice is of no use to those who have over plucked or have naturally sparse, pale brows or suffer total loss through alopecia or cancer treatment.

Eyebrows frame the face, giving expression, warmth and depth, and without them, women can feel uncomfortable about their looks.

With today’s precision equipment and experienced user, we can use a technique that we can reconstruct and shape every eyebrow by replicating each hair at a microscopic level. The result is realistic and natural looking, and the outcome for clients who have lost their hair, for whatever reason, is always dramatic and emotional. In many cases, the treatment is an overwhelming confidence boost.”

Eyeliner -

Eyeliner or Eyelash enhancement is used to add depth and definition to the eyes. One can radically change the appearance of the face with a procedure that gives you back that sparkle in the eye. Even where eyelashes have become sparse, fine, and colour faded, people with an allergy to makeup, or people wearing contact lenses, this is totally recommended.

Medical Procedures -

Corrective/Re-constructive procedures are very effective for thin or uneven lips such as 'hare-lip'.
Surgical scars may be camouflaged by micro pigmentation. Uneven or receding hairlines can be "filled-in" to look better. Vitiligo (uneven pigmentation), alopecia (hair loss), hairline enhancement, areola restoration can all be undertaken with this procedure. It is strongly advised that anyone seeking any “medical procedure”, check that the person carrying it out has a very high level of experience in this field. A recommendation from a Doctor or Surgeon is a good indication that work will of the highest standard.
